In August of 2022 Jenna Rae performed the role of Brünnhilde in Die Walküre, with TUNDI Productions’ Wagner in Vermont Festival. With a full Ring Cycle in active preparation over the next few years, she will return as Brünnhilde in Siegfried in 2023.
With her first complete performance of Isolde with TUNDI Productions in 2019, Jenna Rae received breathtaking accolades from critics, from colleagues, and from Wagnerites who travel internationally for Wagner productions. Ms. Rae went on to reprise the role a few months later with Connecticut Lyric Opera.
In 2018, Ms. Rae performed the title role of Turandot with the Windham Orchestra. Before that, she performed Leonora (Il Trovatore) with the Windham Orchestra as well as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana. In 2017 she sang the role of Elettra (Idomeneo) with the Bennington Choral Society and in 2016, in a benefit for Syrian Refugees Ms. Rae sang the role of Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors.)
Ms. Rae’s soprano journey started with Tosca in 2014 with PanOpera.
As a mezzo-soprano, Jenna Rae’s career included ensemble work with Boston Lyric Opera, then the highlight roles of La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica, with the Hugh Keelan Ensemble, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, with the Windham Orchestra and Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde at the Monadonock Music Festival.
Concert work with orchestra has included Strauss' Vier Letzte Lieder, with the Windham Orchestra, Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem with the Bennington Choral society and Ellington's Second Sacred Concert with the Keene Chorale.
She is co-creator with Hugh Keelan the production company TUNDI, dedicated to the all-encompassing artworks of Richard Wagner.
